Postdoctoral Research Associate Position Available in Mite Physiology

We seek to appoint a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to coordinate the Honey Bee Research and Extension Laboratory's research in the area of Varroa destructor physiology and laboratory rearing. Specifically, the successful candidate will design a research program tasked with the following objectives:

1) coordinate Varroa in vitro rearing research efforts with USDA-ARS (Beltsville, MD, USA), University of Maryland (College Park, MD, USA), and Monsanto (St. Louis, MO, USA) scientists, and

2) develop diet assays for feeding and rearing Varroa in vitro.
