We are pleased to inform you that Apimondia together with SPOS, the Serbian
member association, are organising ApiEcoTech 2012 in Belgrade (Serbia) from
18 to 20 February 2012 at the Sava Centar.

ApiEcoTech 2012 is the first edition of an international symposium that
Apimondia with SPOS have conceived to address the important role of
beekeeping technologies, health care of bees and environment in the quality
of bee products.

We warmly invite you to attend this symposium and you may find more

On the website you will find an attractive scientific programme with
interesting registration fees and accommodation rates that have been kept
very low and also a technical and social programme that will allow you to

As you know, Nosemosis has been considered as the most susceptible disease about honey bee colony losses. Nosema spores (N. apis and/or N. cerenae) show different growth strategies under the different climatic conditions or in different geographical areas. Coloss Network is the big opportunity to set up international Nosema experiment and observe Nosema growth and/or the efficacy of the one or more treatment methods in different countries. By this reason, we intend to update our knowledge and set up a Nosema experiment in different countries by organizing a workshop in İstanbul -TURKIYE. This meeting will give us the opportunity to meet and make fast progress on Nosemosis before coming spring time.

Dear Colleagues,
it is a great pleasure to announce that the 5th EurBee congress will be held at the Martin-Luther-University
Halle-Wittenberg in Halle an der Saale between 3th and 7th of September 2012.

The congress is the major European platform for bringing together international scientists with an
interest in all aspects of bee biology. The biennial conference serves as a communication platform for top EU research
in Apidology and hosts the pan European research networks BEEDOC, STEP and COLOSS.

The conference comprises plenary lectures and symposia (talks and posters) on diverse aspects of the biology of bees,
honeybee management and honeybee products. Each morning and each afternoon will commence with a plenary lecture,
followed by two parallel symposia.

In addition to the papers presented, there will be awards for the best student talk and the best student poster.

On behalf of the EurBee Board and the Martin-Luther-University, I would like to invite you to join us at the
